Built by an industrial electrician and maintenance mechanic for food plants

One system for the floor, the records and the maintenance crew.

PlantLink OS reads your PLCs, shows every kettle and line live, keeps the batch and food safety records, and runs work orders from the same screen. AI drafts. Your people confirm.

Every kettle. Every record. Every work order. One screen.

Everything the plant already juggles, in one place.

Most plants run the floor in one tool, quality in binders, and maintenance in another. PlantLink OS puts them side by side so a fault, a hold and a work order are the same conversation.

Live floor control

SCADA and HMI screens for kettles, lines and zones, fed straight from your Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs.

Quality and food safety

QC readings, holds, cleaning and compliance records kept with the batch, ready for the next audit.

Maintenance

Work orders, preventive maintenance and parts, opened from the alarm that caused them and closed by the tech who fixed it.

Orders and logistics

Orders to fill, warehouse and transport planning tied to what the floor is actually making.

PlantLink Intelligence

Explains alarms, suggests the likely cause and drafts the paperwork. It works for your team and never replaces a decision.

Savings and plant health

A plant health index and savings view built from real readings, so the value is visible and not guessed.

Built for everyone on the floor, not just the office.

Operators

See the state of the line and what an alarm means. Report a fault from the phone in seconds.

Maintenance techs

PMs due, open work orders and machine history on the phone, even when the Wi-Fi drops.

Quality leads

Readings, holds, cleaning and sign-offs in one batch record. No more chasing clipboards.

Plant managers

One overview of lines, orders and plant health, so you hear about problems from the system and not the hallway.

Engineers

PLC data on tap, and drafts of panel documents and schematics to review and finish.

The problems you already know by heart.

Four things every food plant puts up with, and what happens in PlantLink OS instead.

The problem

The alarm says "Fault 47" and nobody remembers what that means.

The one person who knew is on vacation, and the manual is in an office on the other side of the building.

In PlantLink OS

Every alarm shows plain-language meaning, a likely cause and the last time it happened. One tap turns it into a work order.

[What this alarm means, in plain words]

Likely cause (draft): [suggested cause]. A person confirms it before anything changes.

The problem

The audit is Thursday and the records are in four places.

Temperatures on one clipboard, cleaning sign-offs on another, and a hold that only lives in someone's memory.

In PlantLink OS

Readings, holds, cleaning and sign-offs are kept with the batch as they happen. Pull one batch and see its whole story, with who did what and when.

Batch [number] record
[time]Heat step reading logged
[time]Placed on hold: [reason]
[time]Released by [name]
[time]Cleaning sign-off by [name]

The problem

Preventive maintenance lives on a whiteboard and gets skipped when the line is busy.

Nobody can say when a gearbox was last greased, or why the same pump keeps failing.

In PlantLink OS

Each machine keeps its own history: PMs due, faults, repairs and parts used. The tech sees what's due on a phone, and finished work is closed out on the spot.

[Machine tag]Machine history
[PM task]Due [date]
[Past repair][date], [tech]
[Part used][date]

The problem

Software that wants the Wi-Fi to work in the cooler.

Dead spots, wet gloves and a screen too small to read mean the entry gets written on a glove or a hand.

In PlantLink OS

The mobile app has big buttons and keeps working offline. Entries are saved on the phone and sent when the connection comes back.

PlantLink Intelligence

The part of the system that does the legwork.

PlantLink Intelligence reads what the plant is doing, explains it in plain words, and drafts the work that eats your team's day. It checks its own answers and shows its reasoning, so you can see why it said what it said.

Explains alarms and faults.
What it means, what usually causes it, and what was done the last time.
Answers from your own plant's knowledge.
Manuals, procedures and past repairs, searchable by asking a question.
Helps engineers draft documents and drawings.
Control panel layouts, schematics and PLC panel documents, started for you to review and finish.
Watches readings for trouble early.
Flags drift and patterns that tend to come before a breakdown.

Some Intelligence features are still in beta. How it works in detail is shared with customers under NDA.

DraftA person confirms before anything is recorded.

AI drafts.
A person confirms.

The AI tracks regulations, records and audits so your team doesn't chase paper. The decisions stay with the people who are accountable for them.

It never edits a regulated record.
Corrections are written, signed and dated by a person.
It never signs, approves or sets a limit.
It can draft the entry and show its reasoning. You press the button.
It never relaxes a cleaning step.
Sanitation requirements only get stricter on its suggestion, never looser.
The PLC gateway only reads.
PlantLink OS watches your controllers. It does not write to them.

Food safety records that are ready before the auditor is.

Safety and compliance aren't a separate module you open once a year. The records are built from what happens on the floor, as it happens.

Holds with a reason and a release.
When a batch is held, the reason is recorded. When it's released, a named person and a time are recorded with it.
Cleaning and sanitation records.
Cleaning cycles and sign-offs are kept with the equipment they were done on.
QC readings against your limits.
Limits are set and approved by your people for your plant. The system checks readings against them. It doesn't invent them.
One batch, one story.
Pull up a batch and see its readings, holds, releases and sign-offs together, so traceability questions take minutes.
An audit trail on every change.
Who changed what, and when, is always recorded.
What it doesn't do
  • It doesn't certify your plant. Your audits and certifying bodies still do that.
  • It doesn't replace your food safety plan. It helps you keep the records the plan calls for.
  • The AI never edits a regulated record, signs, approves or sets a limit.
  • It never relaxes a cleaning step.

The tech's phone is part of the system.

Operators and maintenance staff get a mobile app for iPhone and iPad. It opens work orders, reports faults, takes QC readings and shows alarms, and it keeps working when the Wi-Fi drops on the far side of the plant.

  • Installs from the browser. No app store needed.
  • Entries made offline sync when the phone reconnects.
  • Shows only real plant data. Nothing is made up.

Connects out. Nothing connects in.

Written by someone who has been paged at 2 a.m.

I spent seven years in plant maintenance as an industrial electrician, a mechanic and an operator, and the last two in food manufacturing. I built PlantLink OS out of the frustrations I kept running into on the floor.

I wanted one system that shows what the machines are doing, keeps the records the plant is accountable for, and gives the person holding the wrench the same picture as the person in the office.

Priced for one plant, not per click.

PlantLink OS is an annual license by plan, with a one-time setup per site that covers getting your plant connected and the hardware it runs on. A yearly maintenance fee covers new releases, security updates and hardware warranty, and support options sit on top.

No per-tag fees. No per-user fees. Add every machine and every person.

Questions plant managers ask first.

Does it write to my PLCs?

No. The gateway only reads. PlantLink OS watches your controllers but cannot change a setpoint or start a machine.

Where does my data live?

On equipment you choose: a small on-site PC at first, then a server at the plant. If you'd rather not run it yourself, we can host a server for you.

Do I have to replace what I use now?

No. A pilot starts on one line or one area, next to what you already have. You decide what to move over, if anything.

What does the AI actually do?

It explains alarms, suggests likely causes and drafts entries. A person reviews and confirms every one. It doesn't edit regulated records, sign or approve anything, set limits or relax a cleaning step.

What if the Wi-Fi drops?

The mobile app saves what you enter on the phone and sends it when the connection returns.

We're running paid pilots with food manufacturers in the Rochester, NY area. You get real data from your own equipment, a working system on your floor, and a clear answer before you commit to anything longer.

What a pilot needs from you
  • One named contact who can make decisions on the floor.
  • Read access to the controllers on the line or area we start with.
  • A spot on the plant network and power for a small gateway and PC.
  • One person from each shift who will actually use it.
  • A signed NDA, which we send before the plant walk.
